The ODS PTA will hold a General Meeting on Saturday, May 4th at approximately 2:15 pm.  The meeting will be held during the ODS International Festival in the auditorium following the conclusion of the international dance and music showcase.

In addition to electing the Executive Board for the 2024-2025 school year the following budget amendments will be voted on.

Proposed ODS PTA Budget Amendments- 

1. Transfer the unused portion ($1500) of 8th Grade Programs line item to the 8th Grade Year End Event line item.  

2. Increase the 8th Grade Year End Event line item by $1000.  Changing from expense of $500 to $1500.

3. Increase the 5th Grade Finale line item by $700.  Changing from expense of $500 to $1200.

4. Increase Hospitality – Staff Appreciation line item by $1000.  Changing from budgeted expense of $2200 to $3200.

5. Adjust International Festival line item to reflect that event is not a fundraiser.  Remove budgeted income of $1500 and change budget net to -$1000. 

   

The budgetary increases in amendments 2, 3 and 4 above are due to the general rising costs of food - purchased in stores or from restaurants.
